Deceptive Advertising Policy

Apex does not permit advertisements that mislead the user. Ad creatives may not contain fake buttons, boxes, or downloading messages, and ads may not use fake search boxes or pulldown menus.

Prohibited Advertisements

The following content is not permissible for advertisements on Apex:

Advertisements offering free services, such as free email, free voicemail or free greetings;
Advertisements redirecting users to personal homepages or free homepage services;
Advertisements promoting chat rooms, instant messaging products or message boards;
Advertisements containing "emblems of death" such as skull & crossbones, excluding Halloween banners during the appropriate season;
Advertisements containing search boxes, real or otherwise;
Advertisements requiring input of personal information (ex. name and email address), such as contests or surveys; and
Advertisements with sexual, substance, gambling, or violent overtones
Apex shall determine, in its sole discretion, whether or not any particular ad falls under one or more of these categories.
